Everybody's Jiu-Jitsu Journey Is Different
As you will see in this video, I received my black belt at my home, likely the very first ceremony hosted at a practitioner's residence. In my journey, I learned how to do things differently to get what I wanted while balancing my life.
My journey in Jiu-Jitsu has taught me that there are often more effective ways to improve than simply following a traditional path. As the world of Jiu-Jitsu continues to evolve and transform, it's time to embrace new approaches to become a more versatile and skilled martial artist.
What innovative strategies can you implement outside of the standard Jiu-Jitsu methods to advance your skills and enjoy the journey?
I’m here to provide you with specialized strategies that reflect your unique journey and align seamlessly with your lifestyle.

How to get as good as possible, as fast as possible, and as safely as possible with life's obstacles.
While balancing my role as a CEO and battling four pituitary brain tumors, I learned to adapt my Jiu-Jitsu training and approach. This led me to realize that there are different, and often more effective methods for advancing in Jiu-Jitsu than following the traditional path. I discovered that supplementing my training at home was a valuable way to focus on specific techniques and concepts. In addition to my home training, I sought opportunities at other Jiu-Jitsu schools which offered unique insights, techniques, and training philosophies.

Train Safely
It takes a long time to get proficient in the art of jiu-jitsu. But you can't train a lot if you are always injured. Avoiding injuries is a great way to increase your odds of success and practice the art for longevity.

Train Happily
Jiu-Jitsu training done right should be fun. If you are going to practice martial arts over your lifetime, wouldn't it be much better if you authentically loved training and improving more consistently?
Train Technically
The beauty of jiu-jitsu is that technique can often overcome raw power, strength, and speed. The effectiveness lies in your technical skills. Focus on technique rather than relying on physical attributes.
